Hello and welcome to my portfolio.
I have recently qualified as a technical designer. In my free time, I work on DIY projects involving 3D printing and soldering. I usually have a lot of projects and ideas running through my head, and it feels best when I get them down on “paper” — meaning the computer — and turn them into something concrete.
That interest doesn’t really stop there. My entire home is set up as a smart home with Alexa, which makes everyday life easier for me as a person with a disability and ensures that things just work.
I also spend time playing board games with friends — usually with a drink or three. I enjoy immersing myself in story-driven games, documentaries, or a good TV series.
And in the future, I would like to have a Rottweiler and a blue-tongued skink.
How I Work Best
ADHD & Autism
Structure and clear frameworks work best. I can hyperfocus and immerse myself in tasks.
Sensory considerations
Sensitive to sudden changes in light and sound. Perfume in particular can affect me.
Energy
Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue mean that my energy can vary. Therefore, I am seeking a flex job with flexible working conditions.
Anxiety
Can occur, but is rarely visible. Best managed with calm and predictability.
Diagnoses do not control my life – but clear frameworks make it easier for me to deliver my best work.
Work Preferences
Structure
A predictable schedule and advance notice of changes — preferably the day before. At the same time, I understand that things can come up.
Work hours
I need a 25-hour work week to maintain energy in daily life.
Communication
Clear frameworks and clear communication. Changes and new ideas should be communicated directly.
Work from home
Option to work from home when needed.
