This is my apprenticeship at Nordic Sugar (the sugar factory in Nakskov), where I worked 25 hours per week with the option to work from home and had school periods three times during the program. I started on April 1st, 2024 after my H1 exams.

On the technical side, I made many adjustments to purchased components and created new drawings for the sales department. I modeled new machines based on photos and older drawings, took measurements on-site, worked with 3D scanning for piping, created P&ID drawings, and updated layout drawings in AutoCAD.

Project Exsemple
Warehouse 4 Fire
During Easter 2025, a fire broke out in Pak Hus 4. Shortly before, we had worked on changes to improve the warehouse, and the project had just been completed.
After the fire, I was assigned to help rebuild the warehouse digitally. At that time, it was still unclear what could be saved, so we chose to model everything from scratch. We used existing material as a reference, while also having the opportunity to rethink the solution from the ground up.

The project was later put on hold due to vacation, a school period, and the company’s campaign. During this time, the work was taken over by my colleague, who continued developing a new version. I therefore only show version 4, as it is the last version I was involved in developing.

Many of the people who worked with the warehouse on a daily basis contributed input for improvements. The suggestions were collected and filtered through my manager and then passed on to me, after which I worked further on them in the design. This led to several versions of the solution before we reached a working version.
